An attempt at tilt shift photography. If you are not familiar with tilt shift photography it is basically the making of fake miniatures by manipulating real life photography.
These photos are not mine, and I wouldnt exactly consider it art. I just wanted to try it, I may use it in a design if I can find the right venue. What do you all think of this technique?

1.) Find a photo with aerial or elevated perspective. Pictures looking down at busy streets or landscapes with small buildings, vehicles, or trains works well.
2.) Blur the photo above and below a main in focus point to simulate the limited depth created when photographing miniatures
3.) Dial up the saturation to simulate the bright colors used when painting miniatures
I think the one on the left look more "minitureized." I think the busy streets of Tokyo( I think it's Tokyo)is just to busy to look like a model. I mean, who could make all that stuff tiny...
